BridgeValley Community & Technical College has been Awarded Military Friendly® Gold Status

SOUTH CHARLESTON, W.Va. - The BridgeValley Community & Technical College Office of Veteran Affairs is proud to announce Military Friendly has awarded us Gold Status in two categories: Military Friendly School and Military Friendly Spouse School. This award recognizes our commitment to providing exceptional opportunities and support for veterans, current service members, and their families.

We are proud to serve those who have served or are currently serving our country by creating a culture of inclusion and respect. Over 1800 colleges and universities nationwide participate in annual Military Friendly surveys, but only 282 of those institutions have been awarded the prestigious Gold Status; BridgeValley is the only community college in West Virginia to receive that honor.

As a Gold Status institution, we have demonstrated excellence in six categories: academic policies and compliance, admissions and orientation, culture and commitment, financial aid and assistance, graduation and career, and military student support and retention.
