Sigma Kappa Delta English Honor Society is a national organization that strives to confer distinction for high achievement in English language and literature in two-year institutions of higher education.  The organization provides cultural stimulation on campus and promotes interest in literature and the English language in the surrounding communities. 

Eligibility requirements include:

• Have completed at least twelve semester hours
• Have completed a minimum of one college English or literature course (excluding developmental courses)
• Have no grade lower than a B in English
• Have a minimum grade point average of 3.0
