TEAS Testing

 

Students can now create an account and begin REGISTRATION for the TEAS  exam. To do so, visit www.atitesting.com. Students must create an account prior to registration.

What is the TEAS?

Students applying for admission to BridgeValley’s Nursing Program and Sonography program are required to take the Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS). The TEAS  is a multiple-choice assessment of basic academic knowledge in reading, mathematics, science, English and language usage. Each of the four sections are timed for a total of 209 minutes- no breaks are allowed.

*Please be aware that CALCULATORS are NOT allowed. If an exam question allows a calculator an electronic calulator will appear in the exam. *

 

How do I register to take the TEAS?

All individuals preparing to take the TEAS test must first create an ATI account. To do so, visit www.atitesting.com. Click “Create an Account” (follow the screen prompts). You only need to register once, and you will use the same account throughout your nursing program. You’ll need your ATI username and password to take an online test or your ATI paper/pencil ID to take a paper/pencil test. Please bring this information with you to the testing location.

Taking the TEAS-

  • Arrive 20 minutes early to the test site
  • Present two forms of ID (One must be a government –issued photo ID)
  • Provide ATI username and password (www.atitesting.com: assigned when registering/paying for the exam)
  • Schedule four hours to complete the exam

*Late arrivals will not be allowed to test and will therefore forfeit the testing fee.
