BridgeValley Community & Technical College to Offer Reduced Tuition to Some Out-of-State Students

The BridgeValley Board of Governors has approved a policy to offer in-state tuition to out-of-state students who work at least 24 hours per week at a West Virginia company.

“This policy comes at the suggestion of our industry partners,” said Casey Sacks, President of BridgeValley. “We’re proud to offer this incentive to continue our goal of providing a trained workforce to the people and businesses in the Advantage Valley.”

BridgeValley is the only college in West Virginia to offer such an incentive. The policy underwent a 30 day comment period; while receiving none, it is now adopted by the school.
