BridgeValley CTC WIN Academy Approved

This morning in a 4-0 vote, the West Virginia Professional Charter School Board approved the Workforce Initiative for Nurses Academy (WIN Academy) at BridgeValley Community and Technical College.

The program is an accelerated nursing program for up to 60 area 11th and 12th grade high school students to complete their high school education and two years of college coursework.

"We're thrilled to offer high school students focused on nursing an accelerated path to West Virginia's nursing workforce," said Dr. Casey Sacks, President of BridgeValley. "With the expansion of our nursing wing and state-of-the-art facilities, we are perfectly positioned to welcome WIN Academy students and are excited for the upcoming school year."

More information on the program and how to apply will be available soon. Prospective students can contact BridgeValley by emailing [email protected].
