Student Chapter of the American Dental Hygienists' Association (SADHA)

Founded in 1923, the American Dental Hygienists’ Association (ADHA) is the largest national organization representing the professional interests of the more than 185,000 registered dental hygienists (RDHs) across the country.  The ADHA believes dental hygienists should be valued and integrated into the broader health care delivery system in order to improve the public’s oral and overall health.

ADHA Mission

Leading the way as a unified force, the ADHA works to support dental hygienists throughout their career lifecycle and advance the dental hygiene profession by developing new career paths, expanding opportunities for care, and providing the latest training and information.

A community of your peers.

At every stage of your career, ADHA helps you be your best for the people who count on you most – your patients. The Student Chapter of the American Dental Hygienist’s Association (SADHA) supports student goals by helping to ensure access to quality oral health care; promoting dental hygiene education, licensure, practice and research; and representing the dental hygienist’s legislative interests at the local, state and federal levels. All members have access to the latest news and research through ADHA’s industry publications, Access Magazine and the Journal of Dental Hygiene, hundreds of continuing education courses, and dozens of scholarships, grants and events.

The BridgeValley chapter of SADHA is only open to students enrolled in the Dental Hygiene Program.
