Tutoring

The Student Success Center (SSC) provides peer, faculty, and volunteer tutors in core academic subjects. Whether students have a one-time quick question or need in depth help over a series of sessions, tutors can provide support with class assignments, challenging exams, or study skills. Tutoring services can be accessed by appointment, or via “drop-in tutoring,” meaning students may come into the center and meet with a tutor who is available according to the “Drop-in Tutoring” schedule.

Brainfuse is an online tutoring service provided for BridgeValley students who may not have the availability to come into the Center. This service can assist students with various subjects (math, english, accounting, nursing, etc.).  Writing Labs are also provided to students through Brainfuse, which allows students to submit essays and receive feedback. Brainfuse services can be accessed by students in their MyBridge Student Portal.
