South Charleston, WV - BridgeValley Community & Technical College will host its 2024 Commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center, beginning at 11am.

The event will feature the Honorable Stephanie Abraham, Judge of the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit Court in Kanawha County, as the Commencement Speaker.

"We are honored to welcome Judge Stephanie Abraham as our Commencement Speaker," said BridgeValley President Sacks. "Her commitment to volunteering with BridgeValley students throughout the year coupled with her distinguished career made her an obvious choice for our graduating class to select her as our speaker."

The event will also feature Christopher Grady as the Student Speaker. Grady served as the president of the Student Government Association.

"Christopher has shown remarkable dedication and leadership throughout his time at BridgeValley," said Sacks. "We are proud to have him as our student speaker and look forward to hearing his inspiring message."

More than 300 students will graduate from BridgeValley this year from programs including nursing, advanced manufacturing technology, internet technology, and more.

"The dedication and hard work of our graduates have led them to this momentous day,” Sacks said. “We congratulate each and every one of them and look forward to seeing the positive impact they will make in the future."
