The University of Charleston, BridgeValley Community & Technical College and Southern West Virginia Community & Technical College have been awarded more than $500,000 in funding from the National Science Foundation’s (NSF) Advanced Technological Education initiative.

BridgeValley Community and Technical college has been awarded a $1.4M grant by the United States Department of Labor to launch the institution’s Appalachians Training for Employment in Technology (ATET) initiative.

BridgeValley Community and Technical College’s (BVCTC) Collegiate Recovery Program awarded 9 students $4,500 in scholarships through grant funding from the Department of Health and Human Resources.

(South Charleston, WV) – BridgeValley Community and Technical College’s (BVCTC) School of Nursing is growing again – this time adding a new LPN Program to better meet the needs of its students and the Mountain State. On July 28, the West Virginia State Board of Examiners for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) approved BVCTC to offer a Practical Nursing Program on its South Charleston campus.
