(South Charleston, WV) – Today, BridgeValley was awarded a $40,000 grant from the American Association of Community Colleges (AACC), Dell Technologies and Intel, as part of the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Incubator Network Initiative. The attributed funds will go toward building an AI incubator for greater access to AI computing power, tools and resources, aiming to foster the skills needed for future jobs.

Due to the unknown nature of the recent bomb threat, all campus buildings will be closed for the remainder of the day. Employees that are able to work from home are instructed to do so. Please do not enter a building on either campus until you are notified.

Events such as the Nursing Information Sessions scheduled for today are canceled.

Two additional Nursing Information Sessions have been added for July 5th on the South Charleston Campus at 2pm and 3:30pm.

The Sessions will take place in B2000 in Room 105.

(South Charleston, WV) – BridgeValley Community and Technical College (BVCTC) will recognize 2021-2022 graduates on Sunday, May 15 at 2:00pm at the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center.

BridgeValley School of Nursing will be holding two Nursing Program Information Sessions- one on Wednesday, May 4th (5:30pm) and one on Wednesday, May 25th (5:30pm) in rooms 137 and 138 at the South Charleston Campus.  Learn more about the college’s $3.1 million Nursing Program Expansion Grant (new Nursing wing) including its two new nursing programs- the 16-Month Accelerated Program and VoTech-to-RN Option.  In addition, we’ll be talking about the Traditional Program, Paramedic-RN Advanced Placement Option, and LPN-RN Advanced Placement Option as well as Scholarship information.
