Workforce Development Board’s Incumbent Worker Grant

BVCTC, in partnership with the Region III Workforce Development Board of Kanawha County, provides programs designed to meet the special requirements of an employer to retain a skilled workforce, assist in business expansion, or avert a layoff.

Employer Benefits of Incumbent Worker Training

Through funding from the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), programs and services are available to provide training assistance to adults, dislocated workers, youth and businesses.  Employers may be eligible for reimbursement between 50%-90% of the cost of training depending on the size of the company.
