BridgeValley Community & Technical College to Host Third Annual 2023 Grad Bash Celebration
BridgeValley Community & Technical College's Vex Robotics Team will compete this week at the Vex World Championship in Dallas, Texas, marking a major achievement for the college. The team, which won a Judge's Award after competing at Purdue University, University of Illinois, and Fairmont State University, will join 100 teams from across the world for a three-day competition.

McKinley Kirkendoll, a student at BridgeValley Community & Technical College (BVCTC) in South Charleston, West Virginia, has been selected as a 2023 New Century Workforce Scholar. This scholarship, sponsored by The Coca-Cola Foundation and Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, is the first of its kind to support students at associate degree-granting institutions on a national scale as they plan to enter the workforce upon the completion of a degree or certificate.

BridgeValley Community & Technical College (BVCTC) has been awarded a grant of $1,150,987 to invest in education and skills training for jobs in green technology, improving opportunities for a community impacted by layoffs in the coal industry. The grant will be provided under the EDA Public Works and Economic Adjustment Assistance Programs, including CARES Act Funding, and will be distributed over three years.
