Dr. Anne Cline

BridgeValley Community and Technical College proudly recognizes Dr. Anne Cline, Associate Professor, for her dedication to STEM outreach in local elementary schools. Through interactive and engaging activities, Dr. Cline is inspiring young learners to explore science with curiosity and critical thinking.

During a recent visit to Elk Elementary Center, Dr. Cline collaborated with Ms. Allison Douglas, a teacher at the school, to lead an exciting, hands-on enzyme experiment. Students donned gloves, used investigation sheets, and worked with lab tools to grind various materials—including potatoes, bananas, and leaves—before adding peroxide to observe enzyme activity in action.

Educators at Elk Elementary Center praised the activity for promoting high-level inquiry and problem-solving skills. Students eagerly participated in discussions, drawing meaningful connections between their observations and prior STEM experiences.

BridgeValley is proud to celebrate Dr. Cline’s unwavering commitment to STEM education and her efforts to ignite a passion for science among young students. Her outreach continues to foster hands-on learning and inspire the next generation of innovators.
