Tuition & Fees
BridgeValley Community and Technical College uses a per-credit-hour tuition model, which allows students to pay based on the number of credit hours in which they are enrolled. This provides flexibility for both full-time and part-time enrollment.
2025-2026 Tuition Rates
(Effective Fall 2025. Subject to final confirmation.)
- West Virginia Residents: $220.00 per credit hour
- Non-Residents: $523.84 per credit hour
How to Estimate Your Tuition:
To calculate your estimated tuition, multiply the number of credit hours you plan to take by the rate above.
For example:
- A WV resident taking 12 credit hours = 12 × $220 = $2,640.00
- A non-resident taking 9 credit hours = 9 × $523.84 = $4714.56
Required and Additional Costs
In addition to tuition, students should anticipate certain required expenses based on their courses and academic program. These may include:
- Books and Supplies – Costs vary by course and academic program. Materials may include textbooks, access codes, software, tools, or other resources. These are out-of-pocket expenses and are not included in tuition.
- Course or Program Fees – Some courses or programs require additional fees for lab materials, licensure exams, uniforms, personal protective equipment (PPE), or background checks. These fees vary and are only charged when applicable.
Students are encouraged to review course syllabi, speak with instructors, and consult the Fee Schedule for more information.
