The Phlebotomy Technician program prepares students to collect blood specimens from
clients for the purpose of laboratory analysis. Students will become familiar with
all aspects related to blood collection and develop comprehensive skills to perform
venipunctures completely and safely.
Following the completion of the classroom portion of the course, students will be
scheduled for 120 hours of clinical practice at a local medical facility. After successful
completion of both the classroom instruction and clinical practice, students are prepared
to take their national certification exam.

- $1,955 (includes 50 hours of classroom instruction, 120 hours of clinical practice, textbook loan, equipment, student uniforms, drug screening, background check, national certification exam, and all related materials)
- This class is approved for 4 hours of college credit; a posting fee of $35 per credit
hour applies.
