Radiologic Technology

Our 17-month Weekend Radiologic Technology Program is designed for students who need to balance school with work and personal responsibilities. While most coursework and clinical experiences are scheduled on weekends, the program also includes a 10-week summer term with a full-time, Monday through Friday (40-hour) schedule to ensure students gain the comprehensive knowledge and hands-on clinical experience required for graduation requirements.

Mission Statement
The mission of the Radiologic Technology Program is to provide a comprehensive educational experience that prepares students to become competent, compassionate, and professional entry-level radiologic technologists. Through a blend of rigorous academic instruction, hands-on clinical training, and commitment to ethical practice, the program aims to equip graduates with the knowledge, skills, and adaptability required to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging and exceptional patient care in diverse healthcare settings.

Program Learning Outcomes
1. Demonstrate clinical proficiency in the operation of medical imaging equipment by performing high-quality diagnostic procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort
2. Analyze and interpret medical images by recognizing anatomical structures and identifying pathological conditions
3. Implement patient-centered care through empathy, effective communication, and cultural competence
4. Apply standards of professionalism and ethics by following patient confidentiality, radiation safety, and regulatory compliance

Program Goals
