SOUTH CHARLESTON, W.Va. – BridgeValley Community and Technical College is pleased to announce that WIN Academy, its innovative public charter school, has received a five-year renewal from the West Virginia State Charter School Board. This renewal, the longest term the state can grant, was approved on October 31, 2024, underscoring WIN Academy’s commitment to educational excellence and its impact on student success in West Virginia.

Since its founding, WIN Academy has provided a unique educational experience, blending academic rigor with hands-on, career-focused learning to prepare students for both higher education and high-demand careers. The five-year renewal is a testament to the Academy’s dedication to fostering student achievement, innovative programming, and a supportive learning environment that aligns with BridgeValley’s mission of preparing students for tomorrow's workforce.
